The Project

Your project is for you to research the provided sources and watch the videos and view the photo gallery in Lesson 4 to understand how a very large population of the world is living without clean water. You will then be required to create a public service announcement to draw attention to the world's water crisis and suggests ways in which we can conserve and do our part. This will be a multimedia presentation which can be done in the form of a power point presentation or Google Doc presentation with audio and impressive images and great content.  You will discover reasons for the water shortage in various areas, what can be done and what role you will play in solving this problem.

You will be placed in groups of 4 and required to create a group wiki and give yourselves a really cool name. The tutorial on how to create a wiki is provided on the tutorials page. Your wiki will be used as your work space for your project. You will add information researched and you will be expected to comment on your group members' pages. Brainstorm ideas for your project and ways in which you can make a difference in the effort to save our water. You will be graded on participation and remember the rules of the internet (netiquette) we covered last module in your posts and comments. I will be accessing your wikis to see your progress and ensure group participation.
