condensation--the process of water vapor in the air turning into liquid water
Ecosystem - community of living and non-living things that function together.
evapotranspiration-the sum of evaporation and transpiration.
ground water-(1) water that flows or seeps downward and saturates soil or rock, supplying springs and wells.
Glacier - large body of ice
Groundwater - water beneath the ground surface in soil pore spaces and in the fractures of rock formations.
Irrigation- controlled application of water for agricultural purposes through man-made systems.
Surface water - water that collects on the ground, in a stream, river, lake, wetland or ocean.
Water cycle - describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the earth's surface
Water table - the upper surface of ground water.
Watershed - An area of land that drains all water from streams and rainfall to a common area.
